The role of a data analyst has gained great significance especially in today’s data-driven world. Data analysts are important in a wide range of industries, as they play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into valuable insights. But what exactly can a Data analyst do? Before I answer that question , let me shed some light into how you can channel your efforts towards developing an expertise in this endeavour.

As a Data analyst, to be relevant across all industries, it is advisable to develop your expertise in a particular domain knowledge rather than tailoring your skills to a particular industry type. You will need to be deliberate in your approach to finetuning your skills and drilling down to your area of expertise to avoid getting stuck to a sector.
